Most architects have very little time, it is for this reason that the future of a comfortable and efficient work depends on the perfect configuration of our workforce.

This part is sometimes taken lightly can make our work ARCHICAD an enjoyable and efficient. From the most basic thing is the configuration of our pens work (a point which I hope to develop later and individually) to the configuration of the working environment, through the patience to determine tool palettes that we use ... and leaving aside of course customize the shortcuts ...... something so important as tool palettes at hand but to the eye. That is why we give our staff time and speed advantage to start work and then implement it.

Taking the points described above come clear, this set of preferences, will constitute an important tool because it not only going to use on our computer but on any PC wherever we want and work later. That is, the templates are easily moved and reused. Here is their efficiency.

The steps for configuration are:

  • We enter the main menu bar and explore options, then working environment in this part is going to give you a personalized and comfortable character of our work in Archicad because we will handle it as more suits us, taking the essentials handy both for reasons of frequency of use for reasons of space on our computer monitor.
  • The second point to consider is the configuration of our respective layers and combinations of these for sound development of our projects, avoiding unwanted or delete items within this uncomfortable views (our project).
  • The third important point that people sometimes use is unknown at the initial configuration of our work levels, point on because it will be a function of the characteristics of our project. That is Semi-basements, mezzanines and basements ... etc. one, two or three stories, in short.
  • Fourth important point is to determine the cut line is going to organize our graphic expression ... it is one thing to work an architectural project with a cutting height of 1.10 m and the other is to have a cut-off for industrial design work , to furniture design in our line of cut will be smaller (the conveniently determine the object according to design). This point we can address in DOCUMENT> PLANO PLANT CUTTING.

Finally, the saved of all these elements should be made in the extension TPL. This template to give you a code, it can go in our USB, and install it on any machine to work in comfort.

At the start of any project as a project in progress and we can set the display and working environment by downloading our staff on the machine you have in front.
