In the previous tutorial we saw how to install and allow our server properly configured to mount a network BIM teamwork. It is imperative not to forget the password with which we made the previous configuration as it is with this fact with which we BIM to activate the server.
Once we have our active BIM Server, open a project in Archicad 13, may be a new or existing one which we share so that other users can work on it.
* Taking into account that the project should be going to open the folder you configured in Step 2: Select a folder to save the previous tutorial projects. If not we will not share this document correctly.
If a new project, when going to File> Save As to place the folder in step 2.
* Keep in mind that all computers where you installed the BIM server must have the same operating system (Mac, Win 32, Win 64) and install the same version of the program and Server Archicad BIM.
Now we will perform the following steps:
Step 1: If it is true, our server is already active, we must first loguearnos with user data and password that we set in Step 4 of the BIM server configuration.
Then we go to the main menu and there Archicad top choose File> New> Share or also TEAMWORK> PROJECT> SHARE

A window in which we choose the name we gave our server, you see our server is denied access because we have not found, clicking on this server will automatically see a window that asked me that Identify me for the chosen server, this is where I put the username and password previously configured.

If the data are correct, I can log in here.
* As a recommendation, taking into account that the data user and password must be identical to those registered. The username and the password is case-sensitive, ie if you put all the user name in capital letters, or the first letter in uppercase and lowercase others must place exactly as recorded.
Step 2: Now log back into TEAMWORK> PROJECT> SHARE going to see that the server now has the floor [Denied] then if the project has no name, name it, if I put in a category or create a new category, SHARE finally click and wait for the server is ready.

Step 3: Now we need to do is to create users and give them permission to connect to our server. To which we open the Control Center Server Bim, by right clicking on the green icon as shown in the figure:

It opens a window where we select the Server Manager, here we will be able to configure the Projects, Users and Roles of each user.

Create and permissions to users:

Select USER, here you can create new users, giving them a name and password, with this, each person can connect to the project from your computer, using the names and assigned users.Additionally, you can give a role to which each person is assigned permissions.

To connect from another computer to the project, Teamwork enter the menu> Project> Open / Connect with Project Teamwork.
Then open our range of Teamwork, Teamwork in Menu> Palette Teamwork in which the project will allow us to work together. As users are connecting, the names will appear in this palette.
Here we have two important functions for teamwork within the Project:
- Book
- Free
To use items, select it and then we can set aside. But if we leave things, so that other users can use, select them and then we can Free.
If you wish to edit items that are reserved and we use the Submit Request button to send a request by a instant message, - as if we were chatting - the owner of the item and request that we deliver. The user that sent him an application, you will receive a message, where you have to accept the application so that you can use.

In the palette, there is a selection of Coloured Labour areas, we can choose here different ways to look our items to identify whether or not they belong to us, or we can put each user with a color so quickly recognize.
ARCHICAD BIM is the future, a revolution and integration teams work between architecture and engineering.
